Installing Windows XP with Service Pack 2 may disable File and Printer Sharing, thereby blocking the deployment of CPM Clients Agents via CPM Deployment Service (CDS).
To resolve the issue, enable File and Printer Sharing:
Open Windows Control Panel.
Select Network Connections.
Select your active Local Area Connection, then right click and select Properties from the pop-up menu.
